60 seconds with Ryan Middleton

What do you foresee as the biggest challenge in your job?
The biggest challenge I find within my role is the ever-changing market with materials becoming harder to source and lead times forever changing, but somehow as a team we always find a way to get around problems.

What three words best describe yourself?
Motivated, honest and kind.

Where would you be and what would you be typically doing on a Tuesday morning?
Following up the previous afternoons emails and having a morning meeting with the rest of the team to discuss site activities.

What interests do you have outside of work?
Golf is a big hobby of mine although I haven’t been able to play since going into lockdown so fingers crossed I can get out and play soon.  I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

If you weren’t working in the electronics industry, what would be your ideal job?
Probably a professional golfer but I think that’s just wishful thinking on my behalf.

What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
If I’m ever unsure on something, always ask the question (NOTE’s advice).

What are your three top tips to succeed in life?
1. Always do what makes you happy.
2. Enjoy life to the fullest.
3. Treat people how you wish to be treated.
